We conduct interference surveys for installations including domestic and commercial premises, factories, road vehicles, trains, boats, ships and aircraft.

 

 

Typical projects include investigations and resolution of problems due to:

 

 

· Transient voltages

· Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)

· Electromagnetic fields (EMR, EME)

· Radio and Radar performance issues

 

 

Solutions include filtering, shielding, earthing, cable and connector redesign, and use of special materials to absorb electromagnetic fields.

 

EMCSI undertook performance investigations of the Royal Brunei Navy’s Off-shore Patrol Vessel.  This included RADAR performance investigations, problem identification and solution.

EMCSI conducted interference surveys and performance investigations for AUSPOST at their mail screening facility.  Intermittent shut down of the equipment was found to be due to EMI, transients and earth leakage levels.  Several solutions were proposed and through a combination of filtering, transient suppression and component changes all issues were resolved.
